Carmen Orlando

Carmen holds a graduate degree in Law and a qualification as Insurance Agent and Broker from CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. She began her professional career in the Law Department of ITAL, a family-owned rent-a-car business. She then lived in Rome for a time, where she worked for Ergon Studio, an event-organizing company and was later founding partner of Divercamps, an agency that specialized in study tours. Thereafter, she created Interschools Plus, a company offering quarterly or annual schooling programs for international students implemented in public high schools in Madrid. On returning to Madrid, Carmen was the sole manager of Lux Limousines, a luxury chauffeured car service company.

She was the first woman to serve as Vice-president of the Board of Tourism—20 years after the creation of the association— remaining in the post for 12 years. For 15 years, she has been the Director of IR for Grand Class, a company that rents luxury vehicles with driver, minibuses and buses.
