Susana Menendez

Susana holds a graduate degree in Law from the University of Oviedo and a master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from ICADE. She is also an inspector of credit and savings institutions. She took the course “Women on Boards of Directors” at IESE and is currently a lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, a member of the Board of Tourism and of the BBVA Real Estate Management Committee, a Director of Sociedad Desarrolladora Inmobiliaria in Dominican Republic, and General Counsel for Meliá Zaragoza and of Costa Canaria, S. A.

Susana is also Managing Partner of TDI Advisors, a strategic operations and investment consulting firm founded in 2008.

As Senior Real Estate Vice-president at Meliá Hotels International she was in charge of developing and optimizing the hotel chain at a national and international level. Formerly, she held managing posts in companies such as BBVA (Business Development Manager), Grubarges (Director of Assets), Argentaria (Hotel Area Manager) and Corporación Hispamer (Real Estate Leasing Manager).

In the last 25 years Susana has acquired extensive experience in the investment, divestment, development, management, planning, viability and transformation of tourist destinations and hotel assets.
